Drawing you into a deeper relationship with God - Part 7

Drawing you into a deeper relationship with God - Part 7

Written by Rachael

The Miracle of the Moment

Lord thank You for drawing us all here tonight, that through Your life, Your death and resurrection, You have given us the best example to live by, that You have set us free, free from death, that we are seated at the right hand side of the Father, through Your obedience to the Fathers will

thank You for teaching us how to listen to Your still small voice, guiding and teaching us, for showing us and teaching us about Love, and how love conquers all, never fails, for taking us from our minds, and looking into our hearts, letting go of anything that we have found, that is getting in the way, of a fully renewed life

as we breathe Your breath, and become consumed by You, in our whole self, letting go and letting You work into our whole being, keep us in the moment, and not hang onto the past, help us let go....in Jesus' name ...Amen

now i got the title for tonight's, from a song by Steven Curtis Chapman, which we will see later, across the series, we have been brought from the old to the new, letting go, freeing us to be more open in prayer and worship, either as a group or individually, strengthening our relationship with God, now

i don't know about yourselves, but it has definitely served to highlight things in my own life, that i didn't even think was an issue any more. How easy it is to package things up, and store them away, into a place which is then forgotten, gets buried deep.

until it is exposed, by the inner working of the Holy Spirit, the more you give up and let go, the deeper the healing you will receive, perfect healing, taking it out by the root, there is nothing you cannot handle through the strength of the Lord, He is God of the impossible, if He sets you free, you are free indeed.

now we are going to look at some scripture, it is easy to read words and memorise them, but different to read them and believe what you are reading, as the inspired Word of God

Hebrews10...19Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21and since we have a great priest over the house of God,

22let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

24And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. 25Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. 35So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.

36You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. 37For in just a very little while,

"He who is coming will come and will not delay.

you have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus....it is finished, draw near to God as you have full assurance of faith, being washed anew, with the water of Life

We need to have an intimacy with God that far exceeds the intimacy with fellow people. That's the kind of love that Jesus is asking of us today.

A love so intense and intimate that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans8:38-39).

God gave us Jesus, His Son, out of love for us. Jesus went through all His trials out of love for us. God had to turn His back on His Son for Jesus to die out of love for us. Jesus stuck it out to the very end because he wanted YOU in His family.

God doesn't want any to perish, everyone has a renewable heart, even your enemies, those that have hurt you, if He paid the price for all, then He also paid the price for them.

this can be hard to accept, may feel unjust, you may think they deserve to be punished, or that they have got off lightly, but maybe someone has thought that about yourself, have you ever hurt anyone, caused pain in one way or another...

God searches the heart, and knows the intent of the heart, He is the judge

1Cor13...4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.8Love never fails.

Love covers over a multitude of sins

2Cor5...17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come

you are a new creation, the old has gone, the new has come..........the old life, you are born again into a new creation, you are now a part of the family of God, don't let the old try and bring you out of the new, run the race as to win

we live in the resurrection, He has set us free, led the captives free, broke the chains of bondage

you are justified through your faith, be bold and be strong, stand firm, remember nothing separates you from the Love of God, so don't fear turning to God in anything

God is the same yesterday today and tomorrow, His Word will always stand.

remember you have moved from death to eternal life, from darkness to the light, from the rough to the smooth, God has drawn and guided you in that

Jesus has given you the gift of freedom, of perfect healing

remember God is the breath within you...

Job33...4The spirit of God has made me;the breath of the Almighty gives me life

God with us....in us...living through us..God loves you so much that He created your very being with His breath within you

you will see all people, treat all people, speak to all people, perceive people, as God does, seeing people through Gods eyes this way, accepting them, not rejecting them

let us be totally consumed by God, from the inside out, and the outside in.....letting go letting God deal with our fears, bringing us peace and calmness, and let Gods breath within you bring you healing and release, bring life to every part of your life

let God lead your life, bring you from the rough to the smooth, from the darkness to light, guiding your every step, every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low

Isaiah 40..3 A voice of one calling:

"In the desert prepare

the way for the LORD ;

make straight in the wilderness

a highway for our God.

4 Every valley shall be raised up,

every mountain and hill made low;

the rough ground shall become level,

the rugged places a plain.

let God bring renewal, refreshment, restoration turning to Him more and more....let Gods Spirit within you, consume your every part, from the inside out

In my heart and my soul

Lord I give You control

Consume me from the inside out

Lord let justice and praise

Become my embrace

To love you from the inside out

let us not lose focus, let us keep our whole self, body mind and soul focussed on God, if our eyes are in the pit, lets lift them up to the heavens, let us not keep records of wrongs, that only serve to cause you pain and hinder you, in your walk with God

remember that though you may be stood in the middle of a battle, that all seems like it is crumbling apart around you, that the battle belongs to the Lord, you have, do and will overcome, that in your weakness He is your strength

let us not focus on the badness in life, the devil, hate, darkness, things that bind us, pride, sadness, chaos

let us not be impatient, be unkind, be heavy hearted, rash

let us keep our focus on God, Jesus, Goodness, Love, Light, Freedom, Fruits

but mostly we have conviction and faith, that love never fails, even if it takes perseverance with something, or it is taking longer than you would hope to sort out, love never fails, it conquers all...be patient, wait on the Lord.....perseverance has its own rewards

James 1... 12Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

Gods Word stands, it is your standard, your encouragement, your teaching...

2Timothy3...16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

so lets look at some scripture...

Psalm37...7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;

do not fret when men succeed in their ways,

when they carry out their wicked schemes.

8 Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;

do not fret—it leads only to evil.

Psalm5...11But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.

Acts 20... finishing the race with joy

John14....27Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

2Peter1...3His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

4Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

Psalm36...5 Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens,

your faithfulness to the skies.

6 Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains,

your justice like the great deep.

Matthew11...Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls

do not let fear steal your peace, do not let troubles of this world take away your peace

when someone does an act of kindness on you, what effect does that have on your heart, it is edifying to the soul, it can help give people hope, a hope that God gave you, we are to be as Christ like as possible, look to the examples of kindness in Jesus life on earth

faithfulness that through anything you may endure in life, that your faith stays firm, steadfast in God, as He is steadfast for you that whatever temptation or trial may come your way, you stand firm in your faith, that He will not let you fall beneath the waves...

through Jesus' faithfulness to the will of God, for the children of God, He suffered and was crucified, His faithfulness bought you your freedom in Christ

learn from Him, be humble, you will find rest, instead of getting angry with someone, be gentle again it will soften hearts including your own, it helps keep your focus, when you get angry, your mind is not focussed on peace, it doesn't rationale that well

Jesus thank You for being obedient to the will of the Father, for dying for us all, that You have bought our freedom

as Easter comes upon us, let us see that we are set free, that we live in Your resurrection, and that no burning arrows will ever reach us, nothing separates us from Your Love

Your Love that conquers all, You came to all, to save as many as possible, thank You for reaching out to all, those that are despised by fellow man, are loved by You

Jesus You are the Truth......and we shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set us free...

Let us live in The Miracle of the Moment

Go in Peace, Peace that God gives....John14...27Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

be blessed!
