Trust God

When you become a Christian a whole new life opens up, you are adopted into Gods family ,you are an heir of the promise. (Galatians 3:23-29)...........................YOU ARE A MIRACLE!!!!

You are a Son or Daughter of the living God, the barrier that once separated you from God has been torn, you enter into a new life and relationship with God.

Some however after days...weeks..months..years...may say .... " I no longer walk with God " or " I gave up on Christianity , I no longer feel God near anymore " or " I don't feel anything towards God "

Well ...you may have walked away..you may have wandered off.. you may have given up...you may have lost hope.

BUT GOD HAS NOT WALKED AWAY FROM YOU...HE DOES NOT GIVE UP HE IS WATCHING YOU...HE HAS NOT LOST HOPE IN YOU.

REMEMBER...HE knows where you are...even though you may have wandered off, YOU are still one of His flock.

You may even be in another field...hiding...but YOU are still one of HIS flock.

HE knows where you are...HE NEVER gives up, He is coming after

you and HE WILL find you and bring you back.

His word is the same to you now as it was when you first became a Christian, HIS promises are still the same as they

were when you first came to Him.

HE says " I WILL NEVER leave YOU, or forsake you ", The only thing that can stop you ....is you.

BUT GOD NEVER GIVES UP, .....Do you think when God says " I love you "......That this is like human love ?

God kept bringing a picture to me over a period of weeks, over and over this picture kept coming back.

And I asked what this picture might mean ?

Each time this picture came it had a different meaning and I wondered what it could be..then I realised what

God was saying and that it was for this message.

It is a simple picture of a person and the person was/is standing over a garden, His shadow is falling on the grass.

The sun is blazing down and the shadow is prominent. The first time this picture came I thought, " Yes Gods protection..we live under the shadow of His wing " But this picture kept on coming back over and over again.

Each time with a different meaning., the next was, the picture and Gods prescence with us, a very strong prescence.

Next, He was watching over us, He never left us.

Next, his care and love.

Then, as the picture intensified over the weeks, I looked closer and noticed that the grass was not growing

where the shadow was.

But the grass was getting stronger and growing faster where the shadow was not .

And then I began to realise what this meant and so this message was born.

You may think, " Where is God ? why does'nt He do something ? "

" I no longer feel Him near .. I give up "

Has God given up on you ? NO, He is watching you...He is near...His prescence is there with you...

Even though you may not feel Him. HE IS THERE.

You see ? the grass was growing where the shadow was not !

Does that mean he has left you ?

SOMETIMES..... it is only when ( it appears ) that God has left us..SOMETIMES it is only when God seems to be far away.

This is the point when WE start to reach out to God..this is the point when we grow.

This is the point when we get nudged out of the nest ( The Eaglet )

God will never forsake us... HE will never leave us.

HIS PROMISES STILL STAND...HIS WORD IS THE SAME...

Salvation is translated from the Greek saos and soteria meaning

to save, deliver or protect, heal, preserve, do well, be made whole, rescue, safety, ...

YOU have been saved,

Salvation is a past tense .

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but

have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

Salvation is a present and ongoing thing......YOU are being saved:

Philippians 2:12-13.. ' Work out your salvation ' Salvation as an on-going process:

"To us who are being saved, (the word of the cross) is the power of God" (1 Corinthians 1:18

Have you ever experienced what I call the ' YO YO '

One minute you are praising and being used by God in wonderfull ways...the next you are under attack from every angle ?

We ARE BEING SAVED.....( The Eaglet )

This is the point....each day another situation will arise...each day ANOTHER PROBLEM WILL occur.

YOU CANNOT BE A CHRISTIAN ONE DAY AND NOT THE NEXT....YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN....FULL STOP.

Before I believed and came to a saving knowledge of Christ..I thought I had no problems at all...I thought I was fine.

It was only when I became a Christian that I realised I had problems.....it was only when I became a Christian that I

realised ...I NEEDED SAVING.

We are in the process of being saved...salvation is an ongoing process.

"Since, therefore, we are now justified by (Christ's) blood, much more shall we be (saved) by him from the wrath of God". (Romans 5:9)

When you think God is far away..when you say " I used to be a Christian ",Do you think that person casting the shadow has gone ? do you think he has forgotten about you ?

HE IS SAVING YOU.....HE HAS'NT GIVEN UP..HE KNOWS WHERE YOU ARE AND HE IS COMING TO GET YOU.

You are bound to Him....and He will NEVER LET YOU GO.

Where can you run ? where can you hide ? Anyone Who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ WILL be saved.

DO YOU BELIEVE that Jesus can save you from your situation ?

What is your situation at the moment ?

Can Jesus save you from it ?

Israel my beloved, let the people see my glory through you, arise and shine like the dawn, I have revealed myself to you, you are mine.

I will never leave you, you wrestle with me ? , come back, you are mine. For my promises never change, my word remains the same to you, I am calling you back, open your ears.

Jacob no longer walks by the power of his flesh, but now he must walk by the Spirit.

When I was a boy I once found a Chysalis, I knew that this was a common old green garden caterpillar that had formed a caccoone around it self.

I waited and waited for this caterpillar to emerge, one day in the spring this newly formed creature began to struggle inside this caccoon and I tried to help it out.

When it emerged it was a beautiful butterfly.

There is a continious struggle between the Spirit and the flesh.

A BELIEVER:......THE MIRACLE BIRTH:........A new Christian is a miracle, YOU ARE A MIRACLE:

Genesis 22 (Amplified Bible)

ABRAHAM BELIEVED:

Anyone who believes in/on The Lord Jesus Christ WILL be saved.

You are saved....but there is also a daily salvation, work out your own salvation.

What are you being saved from ?

"For what saith the Scripture? 'Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness'" (Romans 4:3).

Genesis 15 v 5:(Amplified Bible)

And He brought him outside [his tent into the starlight] and said, Look now toward the heavens and count the stars--if you are able to number them. Then He said to him, So shall your descendants be.

6And he [Abram] believed in (trusted in, relied on, remained steadfast to) the Lord, and He counted it to him as righteousness (right standing with God).(B)

Genesis 17 v 1. (Amplified Bible)

1WHEN ABRAM was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, I am the Almighty God; walk and live habitually before Me and be perfect (blameless, wholehearted, complete).

Until this point, Sarah’s name was actually Sarai. When Abraham was 99 years old, God spoke to him and blessed him with children and land.

He changed his name from Abram to Abraham and his wife’s name from Sarai to Sarah. God also promised Abraham that Sarah would have a child, and that God would maintain his covenant with this child, Isaac

Three days later, three men approached Abraham’s tent. He invited them in and Sarah went to prepare food for them.

She was listening from the opening of the tent, however, when one of the "men," who were really messengers from God, predicted that she would have a child.

She laughed; after all, she was 90 years old and Abraham nearly 100! Yet God predicted that in one year, she would give birth. One year later, when Abraham was 100, Sarah’s son, Isaac, was born.

NOW CONSIDER THIS.... A WOMEN OF 90 YEARS OF AGE CONCEIVING A HEALTHY CHILD ?

COULD A MAN OF 100 YEARS OF AGE BE THE FATHER ?

THIS IS A MIRACLE BIRTH !!!

GOD CAN DO ANYTHING.

So too Mary bore a child, so too this was impossible, so too a child is born in us, so too this is impossible.

We are reborn:

THE BARREN WOMEN BELIEFS:

All three of the patriarchs: Abraham, Jacob and Isaac had wives that were barren. This is ironic in that God had promised to make their seed as numerous as the "sands of the sea."

WHY DO YOU BELIEVE ALL THREE WERE BARREN ?

For it is written, "Rejoice, barren woman who does not bear; break forth and shout, you who are not in labor; for more

are the children of the desolate than of the one who has a husband." (4:27)

THE VIRGIN BIRTH.

BORN OF THE SPIRIT.

Luke 1:26-38 (Amplified Bible)

26Now in the sixth month [after that], the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee named Nazareth,

27To a girl never having been married and a virgin engaged to be married to a man whose name was Joseph, a descendant of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.

28And he came to her and said, Hail, O favored one [endued with grace]!

The Lord is with you! Blessed (favored of God) are you before all other women!

29But when she saw him, she was greatly troubled and disturbed and confused at what he said and kept revolving in her mind what such a greeting might mean.

30And the angel said to her, Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found grace (free, spontaneous, absolute favor and loving-kindness) with God.

31And listen! You will become pregnant and will give birth to a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus.

BUT EVERY DAY IS HIS BIRTHDAY...EVERY DAY SOMEONE BECOMES A CHRISTIAN.

CHRIST IN......EVERY DAY SOMEONE IS BORN AGAIN..THEY ARE HAVING CHRIST FORMED IN THEM.

EVERY DAY IS A CELEBRATION OF THE BIRTH OF CHRIST...OR REBIRTH OF A PERSON.

YOU ARE A MIRACLE....................BORN OF THE SPIRIT..................................BORN AGAIN.

NOT A NATURAL BIRTH............YOU ARE BORN OF GOD.........................A CHILD OF GOD.

CHRIST IS BEING FORMED IN YOU....YOU ARE A NEW CREATION......YOU ARE BEING SAVED.

YOU ARE REBORN....BORN AGAIN................................................................A NEW CREATION.

CHRIST IS being formed in you, you are BEING saved.

If you have wandered off and you think that God has left you and that its too late to return....

If you are struggling with things and think that you will never be a

( good ) Christian.

If you are having problems with your day by day walk with God and you wonder if you can make it through.

Remember this....HE is STILL there with you..He is watching you..He is calling to you.

His word remains the same...His promises remain the same.

His salvation is not based on ..what you can do...

If He was able and more than able to save you from your past life and pick you up.....if He was able to love you as you were and adopt you into His family.

If He was able to save you and say " You are my Son and my Daughter "

Do you really think He is not able to do it every day ?

Do you think that God did not see what would happen ? that He is now dissatisfied with you because you have let Him down ?

God does not hold things against us...He LOVES US..

YOU ARE HIS CHILD...BORN OF THE SPIRIT....A MIRACLE...A SON OR

DAUGHTER OF THE KING.

What do you need saving from today ? .......

TODAY if you hear His voice........

YOU ARE a Christian, let God save you today.

Lord God in Jesus name I thankyou that you love me and I am your child.... I am a miracle...because Jesus is in me....Father God take my life afresh and continue to renew and restore.

Thankyou for your salvation Lord ..that you accept me as I am..Lord take me out of the situation or circumstance I am now in and fill me with your Holy Spirit.

I recommit my life to you and pray Father that I would see myself as you see me, I turn from any false lies or accusations of the enemy. .I turn from those thoughts that are not of you.

And I turn to you Lord Jesus, I bind myself to you in Jesus name amen.
