What must we do to enter the "Kingdom ? "

John the Baptist announces the arrival of the King, not with fanfare and with trumpets as

was the custom, while the streets lined up with people to wait for the arrival of this important

person

But John The Baptist announces the arrival of the King in the wilderness and the people come to

him..........as so too the King calls out to those who will come to the banquet

It is for them to respond, for us to hear and For God to call..............

"Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand." Matthew 3:2 Mark 1:15 Luke 10:9-11

Again we see past , present and future as God calls those by His spirit and by His voice into

the Kingdom, as one calling out , into the wilderness of a heart

You know the birth of Jesus is not just about a manger and a baby, it can be a spiritual birth

in the life of a person, thus the Kingdom of God is at hand or is near

When the disciples went out to preach they proclaimed ...the Kingdom of God is near

They or these were active , visible signs of the Kingdom

New King James says

Nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God has come near you

the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

"The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent, and believe

in the good news." Mark 1:15

Repent...in other words turn around , walk from your old ways and come ...follow me
