PART ONE

CHILDREN RAISED UP

Through the waters and on to glory, we march on the Children of GOD,

We march on and see the enemy scatter,

We march on through the rugged mountain landscape.

Aliens and strangers, not of this world,

Why are we here ?

What is our purpose ?

Already in heavenly places we stand.

So why do we carry on ?

The Certain Samaritan picks up the poor man by the wayside,

And dusts him down and gives him a place to stay.

Why did He do that ?

Why pick up the beloved ?

Why pick up and restore the outcast ?

Why pick up and restore the bride ?

Why pick up and restore the downtrodden ?

Why pick up and restore the ones that have fallen?

Do you see the answer ?

As you did it to one of these ....you did it as unto me.

For I was outcast and was downtrodden,

And the Certain Samaritan picked me up.

YES I too was the Certain Samaritan

And I too was the one by the wayside

The Father Raises us up

YES LORD YOU PICK ME UP FROM THE WAYSIDE

You Raise me up so I can stand on water and rise above the storms .

O God, you raise me up from the wayside and give me hope.

I love you my Father because you raise me up above the circumstance and situation and

give me hope.

Father Of Light

EXPOSING THE PAST

Matthew 5:13-16 (New International Version)

Salt and Light

13"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be

made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled

by men.

14"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do

people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and

it gives light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before

men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

This is the word that keeps returning to me over the week and this morning the visiting

minister spoke about Jesus the Light Of the World ( no coincidence )

When God said " Let there be light " what did He mean ? for there was already light ?

The light that shone in the darkness, the Light of the world that has always been and

always will be the Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end.

Jesus was always the Light the iluminates, Jesus was always the Light.

He came into the world to bring ilumination and spiritual revelation.

When it says " Let there be light " this was the Light of the world speaking !!

The light that He speaks into existence is the light that we know of and see by..

it is the sun and the light that lights our day.

But the Light that Jesus is ...is a spiritual light that rises up in hearts and exposes

and iluminates the heart , it is a Spiritual Light of revelation ( revelation to the

gentiles ) a light that shines in a dark world..not a light that we see by the sun or

a light that turns on and off by a switch but a God light.

We are also the salt of the earth and I wonder how in the same way salt permeates and

heals ...how the opposite can occur and a yeast can affect our lifes ?

I wonder how much of our future is affected by the past ?

I wonder how much of the past affects our lifes now ?

Lets look into the Father Heart of God ....the Light that exposes and the salt that heals.

Lord God in Jesus name we come to you and we give you our past and our future.

We ask you to come in like salt and bring healing and to bring light and expose to us

those things you want to deal with In Jesus name amen

FATHER GOD

Father God

As the song goes....How deep the Fathers love for us..how rich beyond all measure......that He should send His only Son.

This is the relationship that we can have as Sons and daughters of the Living God..we cry out

Abba Father..He is our Father and we are His children. .

Whatever our past experience of a Father is....we can draw from the character and love of God through reading the scripture..this is the inspired word of God . You could say " God wrote it

through human hands, and expressed himself through human lifes ".

Here we can interact and discuss the Father ? Son and Our relationship with the Father.

I realise that not all will agree ...and that is fine...as we can agree to disagree....all I can do is try

to put accross scripture in the light of my own experience and in the light of scripture.

1. John 20:31 ...That Jesus is the Christ the Son of God." John 16:3"And these things they will

do to you because they have not known the Father nor me."

Here we see Jesus as separate from the Father and yet the same in nature.

WE can have a personal relationship with Father God as Jesus had, we can call Him Abba Father .....He wants relationship..

We might know the word but DO WE know the the author ? :) .

2. John 10:30 " I and my father are one"

Jesus is not saying he is the father. they are not one person but in nature they are a united one.

All three ...the Son ..The Father..& The Holy Spirit have the same characteristics and nature ..

.and of course they would have as they are separate but AS one...this is the Trinity.

3. In John 20:17 Jesus said "I am ascending to my Father and your Father to my God and your

God."

There is a slight difference in that Jesus says , " My Father and your Father"

" My God and your God.

Remember we are adopted into His family.

As adopted children we inherit and share, all that is His we now have available .

God wants to share...this is His nature ...to share....

DRAWING INTO A DEEPER RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

Relationship

WE can have a personal relationship with Father God as Jesus had, we can call Him Abba

Father .....He wants relationship..

We might know the word but DO WE know the the author ? :)

How much do you think our experiences of the past can affect our relationship with God ?

And how does the way we have been brought up affect our parenting and relationships ?

Can Father heal our past ? and bring us into a relationship with Him that is far deeper than anything we have known ?

Old Life

Although we may have crossed through the waters from Egypt to the other side , and become

the " others " separated and " Holy " ...set apart ...and saved from the land of " other gods " we

may well take things with us on our journey.

Of course we take ouselves and although we have left behind all those things of the world , we still have in us and in our thinking the " old way "

The " old way " can trap us and we can be in our own " prison " in our minds and although we

can say " I a Christian " ...although we can say " I am free "...although we can say " God loves

me " ..when it comes to the crunch ...when things get bad, when we are confronted ...we can

say " God loves me "...but inside we can be saying .." God is punishing me " or God does'nt care " or " I'm no good "

Past things can hinder us ...past ways , past thoughts..past experiences... past hurts..past

rejections..past fear...

Father heart of God

We can be so frightened of getting hurt ...we can be so frightened of being rejected...we can be

so afraid of not be accepted.

Fear can paralyse a person ...

It is a fact that God loves us...this is a fact

Anything else that syas to the contrary is not of God

Servant King

Jesus The Servant King....imagine Jesus serving us..God serving us ?

And yet if God were not like this ..the world would cease to exist and all life would come to an end as He sustains all things by His powerful word.

This is example.....we do not follow a Father who says one thing and then does something else.

..but we follow a Father who shows by example.

Jesus is the exact representation of the Father ' If you have seen me ..you have seen the Father '

If you want to know the Father heart of God look to the New Testament and to Jesus.

We see Jesus praying /talking to God in relationship ...being obedient and listening to the Father.

We see Jesus The Son Of The Father healing and restoring...delivering and loving.

This is Our God the servant King.

Jn.11:41-43 Jesus lifts his eyes toward heaven and prays, " I thank you that you heard me,

and I know that you always hear me."

Here Jesus is giving an example, He shows and teaches by example.

Babe of God

God said " I will provide a sacrifice "

You Are God's Child - John 1:12-13

"Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God - children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. (NIV Bible)

We are Gods Children....YOU are a Child of the Living God...if YOU believe and trust daily in Jesus the Son of God.

Because YOU have Christ being formed in YOU...YOU are a babe of God.

You are being transformed...you are growing in God...you are being renewed...you are being

restored..you are being saved....you are being fed...you are being changed from glory to glory..

you are growing up in God...you are adopted and loved....you are being cared for..God loves

you.

God Loves You - 1 John 3:1

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called the children of God! And that is what we are! (NIV Bible)

You Have The Assurance Of Eternal Life - John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him

shall not perish but have eternal life. (NIV Bible)

He Put His Holy Spirit In You - 2 Corinthians 1:21-21

"Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit guaranteeing what is to come.

Nothing Will Ever Separate You From His Love - Romans 8:38

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything in all creation, will be

able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

He is being formed in us..

"Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation." Hosea 14:3

Abba is the Hebrew intimate word for "daddy."

We can call Him Abba Father.

When a Child Is Born

Hosea 11:1When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son.

God calls to us and delivers us from bondage into His inheritance.

Ephesians 1:3-6 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in

the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the

creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.

In love he predestined us to be

adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will -- to the

praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.

1 John 3:1-2 [1] How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called

children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him

[2] Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet

been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see

him as he is.

In His death we have life...we are reborn..not a natural birth..but a super natural birth...God is a

God of the super natural. God is a God of miracles and from something barren He brings fourth

rebirth..from something empty He brings fourth abundance..

From death He brings fourth Life.

from ashes He brings fourth beauty....from mourning He brings fourth joy.....from heaviness He brings fourth praise..from a life of nothingness he brings fourth increase.

Rejoice and be glad o barren one.

For from Abraham believing He was seen as righteous...

When we too believe In Jesus we are made righteous by the blood of the Lamb.

O amazing love..bring fourth praise and increase... ....................................

No greater gift

No greater gift than love, the Fathers love, no greater love than a man lay down his life for a

another, what perfect love , a symphony and melody of love that the Father sings over us and

we respond back to Him.

He rejoices over us and delights in us, how good it is when brothers

dwell in harmony, what a perfect symphony, what an orchestra , sounds never heard nor

perceived by man are sung over us.

The whole choir of heaven sings sounds unheard of by human ear and the Father dances over us and delights in us, the Fathers song, The Fathers song

Father God I love you..In Jesus name speak into lifes and bring healing..Abba Father..heal hurts

and wounds and speak Lord....Amen
