REVELATION EVERLASTING

Father God in Jesus name we pray that you would stir up within us. that you would fan a flame

through your Holy Spirits working.life on this planet. ..BUT You will not force your way into

peoples lifes..We are not puppets on strings . But rather you call us and it is for us to respond

to you. Father help us to listen to you...Help us to learn to listen....Help us to learn what

relationship is. Thankyou Father that we can never get too close to you, there is always more..

.Such is the unending fathomless depths of our loving God. Help us to listen and learn Lord In

Jesus mighty name amen

While thinking on this over a period of time and meditating on these scriptures I had a picture.

The picture was of a plough going through a field. We go back to preparation again, preparation

of the heart. Preparation of the hebrew people to depart from Egypt....Preparation of Moses...

Preparation of peoples hearts to turn from the world and turn to God Himself.

I cannot describe the next picture it was not so much a picture but a happening...( Sometimes a

word becomes a picture ..Sometimes a its a happening...Sometimes a picture becomes a word..

.Its hard to decsribe But I felt a great whirlwind..A conjuring up....a stirring up.. whipping up...like

God is drawing out ? The word of God says, “ fan into flame the gift of God , God did not give us

a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self discipline 2 Timothy 1 v 6 In other

translations it says , to stir up. YOU ARE BEING PREPARED..Preparation is a continious process

for the next step in your journey. Preparation is preparation not just for this life, but for the life to come.

We will not always understand why things happen, anymore than we can understand evreything about

the life to come. GOD IS STIRRING UP..Fan into flame..A spark can become a raging fire.

LEARN TO LISTEN TO GOD...Learning to listen to God is part of prayer, it is a very important part

of prayer. Prayer is not just talking to God ( although this is good ) but it is learning to listen to what

God is saying. This is not easy, there are times when I have got it completely wrong, and I have not

been listening to God but to my own desires, ambitions, thoughts. But God has a better plan.

Don't be frightened of ' getting it wrong ' This is how we learn...This is how we grow...This is how

we learn to listen, so many have shrunk back, frightened of sharing a word or sharing that which God

has given. Fearing that if they get it wrong then people will say " there you were wrong, your false "

well I say to share it..If it is from God it will burn in you until you do, and for those who are quick to

pull down ...Remember this. With the same breathe the people shouted Hossanna to the Son of David.

and waved palm branches and with the same God given breathe they shouted. " Crucify " Let God be

the Judge...also remember this. It is far easier to pull down than to build up.We need to know the voice

of God..To learn to listen.' How ' it is good to start with -quiet times- . Take time each day..set that time

aside just to listen to God, Whether it be ten minutes or ten hours does not matter.

I find it a good thing just before I go to sleep just to lay there and raise my hands and listen....this may

seem strange to start with. We are not used to listening in this modern day and age.But if you love

someone....Would you talk to them without listening to them ? Would you tell them all your needs

and wants and problems ? And not listen to what they have to say ? what kind of relationship would that

be ? Moses was going through a time of preparation..He was going through a time of learning to listen to

God...God was about to stir up. And so Moses was learning to listen to God...What better place than in

the desert wilderness. ?

THE LIFE OF THE BEDOUIN

Try to imagine and picture this in your mind. You have just woken up..You look up at the star lit sky

and your eyes widen at amazing spectical..From horizon to horizon all you can see is stars, 'stars not

hidden by artificial light' thousands upon thousands of stars all shining in their brilliance and you wonder

at the glory of God. Your ears buzz with the awesome silence and you listen to your heartbeat and the

sound of your own breathing, ( How different to the hussle and bussle of your normal life ).As the suns

light begins to rise above the desert sands and the shadows of the mountains begin to take their form and

the stars fade into the blue haze, you reach for your water supply. You know that in the desert water is

life and the sun means thirst..Thirst means dehydration and dehydration means death. This is a matter of

survival.. You look accross the vastness of the Sinia full of mountains and dunes, the canyons and scrub,

you look to the acacia tree in the distance, you know that where there is life...There is water.

It is another day of thirst, after the freezing cold night, this is when you reach for God..This is when you

are aware of your human frailty..this is where you learn to listen to God..this is where you learn to depend

on God for your very existence.This is the life of the desert Bedouin, where water means life,

Gods word speaks of A Plant of Renown In Ezekiel 34:29 and God says, I will

raise up a plant of renown and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear

the shame of the heathen any more.

To sleep under a Tamarisk tree is, as the name implies a risky thing,

In the desert if you do sleep under a Tamarisk tree you will wake to find Yourself covered with white

spots . These are flaky wafers are called ' what is it'

, in Hebrew the word is 'man hu ', which means ' what is it ' . These little wafers are sticky and sweet .

In this desert place tiny insects punture the bark of the Tamarisk tree , drinking the

sap and exuding a clear liquid that solidifies as a sugary gobule. When the sun comes up it melts and

disappears.

In the desert you find solitude and silence. In the desert you learn to listen. Again prayer is not just

talking..It is a two way communication: And so the people were being prepared, before we come to

God..Before we ask Jesus into our lifes....HE is preparing us. Her we see the Hebrew people being

prepared... Here we see Moses being prepared. Here we see Moses learning to listen to God..We

need to learn to listen to God and this is a continiuos process, ever drawing closer..Nearer..learning..

Do not become happy in the place you are in as a Christian, there is always more. Someone once

said to me " never think you have made it " because when you do ....You will come to a standstill.

God is stirring up...we need to respond. God is saying . "Listen to me "

Please pray this prayer if you believe God is speaking to you.

Lord God fan into flame that which has grown cold, the things which I have buried, come with that

plough and raise those things from within me. Stir up Lord, fan into flame, Lord I respond and say

make`my heart a raging fire that can be felt by all around. Let those around me be drawn to me as

a fire draws those who are cold and let the light. YOUR light within me be seen, be evident, be

noticed. May the fragrance of that fire be an offering of worship to you Lord. Lord help me to

listen to you. In Jesus mighty name amen.

Lord God In Jesus name help us to put those roots deep into your word and to lean on you '

Our Staff ' the Strong Anchor - The One we can draw from, the One who is the source of

nourishment and refreshment. Jesus name amen.

We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto

a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: -

2 Peter 1:19

Day Dawn and Day Star - (The Lord of New Beginnings) NOT SLAVES TO THE WORLD :

For the God of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers; We as new Christians have had

the scales removed from our eyes: We turn around and step out of the bondage of Egypt and

into the Light: So we become Sons and Daughters of The Living God

LET YOUR ROOTS GO DOWN INTO GODS WORD ( JESUS ) AND ALLOW HIM TO

BE THE ANCHOR IN THE STORM :

The people are now about to cross the waters, Jesus is about to lead his people out of the

bondage of Egypt and into a journey of faith. This is the start of the alpha course where every

day we can learn something new. When we become Christians a whole new life begins, we

may not feel any different ! but in spiritual places you have been lifted up from death to life, in

spiritual places - so many things happen, it can take a lifetime to really understand what has

happened to us.We will never really truely grasp it or understand.

PSALM. 114:1 - 8:

When Israel came out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of foreign tongue, Judah

became God’s sanctuary, Israel his dominion. The sea looked and fled, the Jordan turned back;

the mountains skipped like rams, the hills like lambs. Why was it, O sea, that you fled, O Jordan,

that you turned back, you mountains, that you skipped like rams, you hills, like lambs? Tremble,

O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob, who turned the rock

into a pool, the hard rock into springs of water.

Isaiah 49 1 - 6: (King James Version)

1.Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the

womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. 2.And he hath made

my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished

shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;

( AMPLIFIED VERSION )

5And now, says the Lord--Who formed me from the womb to be His servant to bring Jacob back

to Him and that Israel might be gathered to Him and not be swept away, for I am honorable in

the eyes of the Lord and my God has become my strength-- 6He says, It is too light a thing that

you should be My servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the survivors [of the

judgments] of Israel; I will also give you for a light to the nations, that My salvation may extend

to the end of the earth.

Whatever stage we are at in our Christian lifes we need to feed on the word of God, we need to

know the word of God, we need to lean on Jesus the Staff. As we lift Jesus higher we see the

waters part, as we lift Jesus higher we see the nations tremble, as we lift Jesus higher we see our

enemies defeated. As Moses lifted up His Staff, so we lift the name of Jesus Higher: We need to

lean on Jesus the Staff... Our strength..Our Buckler: HE is Our strength:

VISION.

One day I had a picture of a hand reaching down and grasping and holding onto the sands of the desert; I

had the words " I will never let you go " But; there was something I could'nt understand ?

There appeared to be what I believed to be sand falling out from between the fingers of the hand

and I said, " What does this mean Lord " ? Afterwards I realised that it was not sand falling from

the hand but; seed. In Luke 8: We read about the Parable of the Sower and in Colossians 2:7

(Amplified Bible) we read. Have the roots [of your being] firmly and deeply planted [in Him,

fixed and founded in Him], being continually built up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed

and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and abounding and overflowing in it with

thanksgiving. Let your roots go down deep into Gods word.

There are very few trees in the sinia

but these trees can live up to 10 years without rain, how ? By growing roots that go deep into the

earth: The Date Palm is a good sign in the desert of water beneath the surface, but

again to get to it means digging deep. Digging for water would normally take some hours, the sides

would be shored up with rocks, to make a well, sand might be raised to the surface using a bucket

on a rope. The well might be anything from thirty to sixty feet deep, in the desert if you have no

water, you must know where to`find water and you must dig deep. This is hard work, it takes time,

but in the desert where there is life there is water and where there water there is life.

Some desert life may store up plenty when the rains come, so that in times of need there will be

sufficient. But some like the trees of the desert go down deep, why ? to survive. As Christians on

our journey through the wilderness we need to know where to look and find our nourishment, we

need to dig deep into Gods word, we need to draw from the well of salvation.We are to ' Draw Up '

John 4:11

"Sir," the woman said, "you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this

living water?

In these Chapters we see God drawing Moses out: We see God/ Jesus drawing the people

( Christians ) out of bondage: We see God drawing the chosen people out of Egypt but;

Jesus was also drawing Egypt out of the people ! Here in plagues of Egypt we see Jesus/ God

drawing out the enemy and exposing him, the plagues were the evidence of what was really going

on in spiritual places: who was behind the gods the egyptians worshipped ? God was drawing out

and exposing . So we as Christians are drawn out, we need to draw from the right source, we need

to feed on the word of God and let our roots go down into the WORD: What authority/ strength did

Moses have ? Who gave him the authority / strength ? We can lean on the staff/ Jesus, HE is our

authority and strength. Moses means to ' draw out ' God drew Moses out, He rescued him, saved

him, Moses was chosen, he was a chosen instrument. As Moses was saved through the waters, rescued:

So we are chosen - drawn out - saved - rescued - adopted. As Moses drew the people out of Egypt so :

we too are to draw people out from the world, the great commision, ' go into all the world ' This is the

sand in the hand of God, WE ARE THE SAND: He will never let go of, but from the hand comes the

seed .

TESTIMONY.

I give a testimony of what God did many years ago .I lived with a family who were leaders of

a Church many years ago, they gave their house to people in need, but there came a time when

they needed a bigger house. They moved to a new home some years later, but God had plans to

bless them and others. One night a lady from the same Church had a dream, and in that dream she

was shown a house, the house was not like any house but it was a house that was easy to recognize

because of its unusual features. The next morning this lady shared her dream with her husband and he

took off on his bike to find this house.He spent all day searching and was about to give up when at

last he found it, this house turned out to be an old private girls school and had twelve bedrooms.

This couple unknowingly shared what they had discovered with the family I stayed with, well to make

this story short there just happened to be a person who was able to provide the financial backing for

this family to obtain this house, God is Good: During the 6 years I stayed with this family I saw many

people come and go, some people might stay a few weeks, others a few months, some like myself some

years. All these people needed help in one way or another or they may have just needed accommodatiom,

but whatever the reason for their staying, they would become a part of the family. One of the rules of the

house was that you had to join in with the family, and that also meant attending Church on a sunday !

Over the years I stayed with this family I saw so many people come and go, they might give their hearts to

Jesus and become believers, they would become part of the family, they would go to Church, they might

become active members of the Church. Or get involved in the day to day activities of the Church, but sooner

or later there would come the time when they had to move on, for whatever reason.

And later, sometimes weeks or months or years, we would find out that that person went away from the

Lord, they would go back into their old ways and lifes. It always saddened me when I saw people leave,

it always left me with an emptyness, these people were family, brothers and sisters in the Lord and yet once

they went back to the place they had come from. Or went back to their families or relatives they seemed to

slip away, back to their old lifes and we would rarely see them again, they backslid. But a few came through,

a few went over to the other side of the waters, a few carried on in the journey, and out of this work of God

came the few that carried on. And this is the message that I need to put across. But A few carried on, do you

see ? The mustard seed ? The root ? the hand that grasped the sand and some seed fell from the hand ?

I was one of those people that carried on and who knows how many more will come to salvation through that

work of God many years ago ? Who knows how many souls will be saved through those few that carried

on ? We can be the person called and saved by God who carries the staff and leads others to salvation through

the waters . A short time ago someone came up to me and said " Hello " now I recognised this person but I

could'nt place him, ( where did I know him from ? ) He knew me straight away, he knew my name, he

remembered everything. He said to me, " have you got a memory problem ? " It was then that I realised it was

one of those brothers from twenty years earlier who I had live with and shared with. You see the seed was

sown, even though he went back into his old ways, even though twenty years had past, he remembered everything

as clear as clear. He reminded me of all the names and events and everything that had happened all those years ago.

You see, with me, I had moved on, to me it was another part of the journey, but to him it was a major part of his

life, he was looking back and remembering all that had happened. The seed was sown and who knows what will

happen to those people in years to come ? Who knows how many people they might share their story with ?

The Hand is the hand that says " I will never let you go " But is also the hand that sows the seed: Here in Exodus the

people were at the beginning of their journey: We are at the beginning of our journey, NO MATTER how long you

have been a Christian, YOU are at the beginning of your journey. This is the Alpha course, the beginning of our

journey, we will never stop learning until the day when we meet with the Lord, we will always be growing and

learning, becoming more like our Lord Jesus Christ:

LET YOUR ROOTS GO DEEP INTO THE THINGS OF GOD: INTO HIS WORD: INTO

JESUS: LET HIM BE YOUR ANCHOR IN THE STORM: FEED FROM HIM:

LET THE SEED FALL, TAKE THE STAFF AND LEAD MANY TO SALVATION:

Thankyou Lord God for your unchanging word. Lord words cannot express or minds comprehend the vastness and unimaginable uncomprehensible things that lay in store for those who beleive. Lord help us to go the extra mile, help

us to go through the waters and to carry on walking on the journey, that we would take the staff and lead many

to know you as Their Lord and saviour. That we would draw from you, that we would draw up from the well of

salvation and drink from the waters of life. Lord God speak into hearts what I cannot put into words Lord let revival

start in the heart, In Jesus name amen.
