Drawing you into a deeper relationship with God - Part Two

Falling deeper in love with God

Last week was part1 ~~ Listening to His still small voice of calm, hearing what Gods Word is for you, the Voice of Truth

ok, we are going to continue in our journey with God, going into a deeper relationship with Him, bringing renewal, refreshing, restoration, restarting, turning to Him more and more.

Part2 ~~ Falling In Love with God

Nothing is more practical than finding God, that is, than falling in love in a quite absolute, final way.

What you are in love with, what seizes your imagination, will affect everything.

It will decide what will get you out of bed in the morning,

what you will do with your evenings, how you will spend your weekends, what you read, who you know, what breaks your heart, and what amazes you with joy and gratitude.

Fall in love, stay in love and it will decide everything.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
God is love and they that dwell in Him must also dwell in love (1 John 4:16). What this means is that we need to fall in love with God just as much as He has fallen in Love with us.
Falling in love with God is different from the way we fall in love with people. The kind of love that I'm talking about is such as the one described in 1 Cor. 13.
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.8Love never fails.
We need to have an intimacy with God that far exceeds the intimacy with fellow people.
That's the kind of love that Jesus is asking of us today.
A love so intense and intimate that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans8:38-39).
My prayer for you is that you may fall totally in love with God. It is up to us to respond to His love. To do this, everything else that we hold dear must pale into insignificance when we come face to face with the love of God
God gave us Jesus, His Son, out of love for us. Jesus went through all His trials out of love for us. God had to turn His back on His Son for Jesus to die out of love for us. Jesus stuck it out to the very end because he wanted YOU in His family.
Just think about that for a minute....
He could have walked away at any time. Satan tempted Him the same as (more than) you and I, but He stuck it out to the very end BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU.
When Jesus Christ died, He was thinking about you, thousands of years before you even got here.
A poem of falling in love with God...
The Most Beautiful Thing of All..... by Gods Ambassador
When I see your beautiful eyes,
I vision the sunlight warming the gentle skies.
Your eyelashes wave like the winded grass of the praire.
Your lips are as attractive as a fresh seasoned cherry.
Your smile defines all the words of loveliness.
And your kisses are filled with joy and happiness.
You are the spark that sets me on fire.
You have an unbelieveable strength that will never retire.
Your fragrance is sweeter that honey-bee's honey.
You are a priceless beauty that can outweigh all of Earth's money.
Your hair is as brilliant as the midnight sky.
You are the presence that will cause all of my nightmares to die.
One of God's greastest creations is your action.
Gentleness and kindness to others is your main attraction.
Like the intensity of a thousand suns is the fire I feel.
And it circles my soul in the form of a powerful wheel.
My words are endless, because there is so much to say.
I've been thinking of you since that one vibrant day.
As long as the grass is green and the sky is blue.
Always and forever, I have feeling for you.
