WRAP UP

And so lets wrap this up by going to the book of Revelations

And in this study we have gone in three steps from Genesis to the story of Jacob and Esau and

now to the book of revelations and this is where we journey in the next series of studies

THE SERPENTS STING

Revelation 12:17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war

 against the rest of her offspring--those who obey God's commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus.

So the dragon of old persecuted and persued the woman (Church)

Whether this be the Church of Old Genesis 22:17 and the seed thereof

Or the Church Romans 8:11

this dragon...the serpent of old Revelation 12:15 being in emnity Genesis 3:15 and waging war against the children that the "woman" bore

Though the dragon could not destroy the Church, he endeavoured to devour the lifes of those who were known as "saints" being covered by the Blood of the Lamb Romans 8:31

he "the serpent " made war aginst the "remnant of her seed" this being the children of God

THE MANCHILD

And he was at "emnity" with "the Manchild" Revelation 12:1-17

Here we see the the prophetic word being outworked in history, from Genesis 3:15 to

the biblical end of the prophetic word

But we know that the word of God does not end at revelations, for that which is not written still

awaits to be seen and that which is not seen still awaits to be revealed

So those who bore the testimony of Jesus being the "seed of the woman" saw and were a part (were, are and will be) of the emnity ..the raging war that was fought and won yet being fought and to be concluded in Revelation 20:10

BY HIS STRIPES

In this we see a "God created enmity" something that happened due to and since the

disobedience of Man and resulting in the fall, being a curse Genesis 3:17

So the "bruising of the head" is the serpents end , a death blow and a fatal wound being that the serpent or dragon lost the key to death and death no longer has its sting 1 Corinthians 15:55

Yet "The bruising of the heel" being that the promised seed would suffer Hebrews 2:14-15

In Revelation 20:1-2 we see the link here between the serpent of old that was in the garden of Eden and the dragon eg:

"He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil"

And in this and at this time we see the "Judgement of satan" Revelation 20:10

The "final blow to the head being Revelation 20:1–15 and this is where we have this scripture

Romans 16:20

Psalm 91:13 this relating to the devil being the serpent or asp and the lion or dragon 1 Peter 5:8

UNDER THE LAW

Now lets go to Galatians 4:4 where God sent His Son born of "a woman" under the "law"

Under the law being that Jesus was born in : nature of humanity being born and raised and

subjected to the fall (in that he aged and was born) and raised under jewish law, being both

under the precept of it and under the curse

In this we have Immanuel - God with us - Isaiah 7:14

Whereas the curse upon mankind has brought death , so Immanuel brought a sharp blow to

the generational curse by ending it and taking the "key"

For though I was born "in sin" as it states in Psalm 51:5 and though we are sinners by nature and

so although Mary was born in this, Jesus never sinned in that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit

being a "life giving Spirit" 1 Corinthians 15:45

SEED OF THE WOMAN

And so the "seed of the woman" Galatians 3:16 isJesus and all who are part of "The Church"

the seed being the seed as numerous as the stars in the sky being that the have inside them "The Manchild"

And so Christ became a curse for us Galatians 3:13 on the Cross , that is He took the punishment

we deserved , the curse of the Law being the curse which is due to sin, nailing it to the Cross

For death is the wages of sin Romans 6:23, in other words "the curse was to take our place"

And there will be a time when the enmity will be at an end and all will be revealed, as yet we

see a poor reflection but then all will be revealed on the day of "Revelation" 1 Corinthians 13:12
