Walking to, through and in Freedom

Lord, thank You for drawing us all here today, we praise You and Glorify You, fill our hearts, minds and souls, with Your Love and Peace, guide us with Your light

Open our ears to hear Your Word, our hearts to believe it, our minds to be transformed by it, our eyes to see it, our mouths to speak it

Lord i pray, that everyone does listen to the Voice of Truth, that we keep our focus on You, that You do draw and guide us, from the darkness to the light, the rough to the smooth, renew, restore and refresh us

Let Your Peace, Love and freedom be very real in our lives, that we shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall set us free, thank You for Your faithfulness, Your healing, Your comfort, Your protection, Your guidance, Your light, Your love and Your peace

Praise You through the storms as well as the calms of life, so that we will always be soaring above the waves with You, wether the waves be still or stormy, pray that we all learn to be still, and know that You are indeed Lord....ask this in Jesus name...Amen

God is love and they that dwell in Him must also dwell in love (1 John 4:16). What this means is that we need to fall in love with God just as much as He has fallen in Love with us.

Falling in love with God is different from the way we fall in love with people. The kind of love that I'm talking about is such as the one described in 1 Cor. 13.

4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.8Love never fails.

We need to have an intimacy with God that far exceeds the intimacy with fellow people.

That's the kind of love that Jesus is asking of us today.

A love so intense and intimate that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans8:38-39).

My prayer for you is that you may fall totally in love with God. It is up to us to respond to His love. To do this, everything else that we hold dear must pale into insignificance when we come face to face with the love of God

God gave us Jesus, His Son, out of love for us. Jesus went through all His trials out of love for us. God had to turn His back on His Son for Jesus to die out of love for us. Jesus stuck it out to the very end because he wanted YOU in His family.

He could have walked away at any time. Satan tempted Him the same as (more than) you and I, but He stuck it out to the very end BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU.

When Jesus Christ died, He was thinking about you, thousands of years before you even got here.

There are times in our life where we feel like we're not worthy of Gods love

You feel like you've sinned way too many times to be forgiven

You think that there's no way God can ever forgive you, that He couldnt't possibly love someone who has sinned so much

So you begin to run

But what you don't realise is that you're running in the wrong direction

You're trying to run away from all the things you've said and done

Your sins have already been forgiven because of Jesus

There is no condemnation or shame...only grace, mercy, love and FREEDOM

God will never turn you away. He will only welcome you back home with Love and Grace

So start running the other way
