Drawing you into a deeper relationship with God

Getting out of our heads, into our hearts

Lord thank You for drawing us all together, here today, to come into a deeper worship with You, open our eyes, minds, ears and hearts, to Your Truth, that we see Your Word, both in ourselves and others, that we know Your Word, hear Your Word, and believe Your Word in our hearts

may Your Spirit come down on us all here, that You bring renewal, refreshment, restoration, let the air we breathe, be Your Holy Presence, ask this in Jesus' name...Amen

as we work through the series of building on our relationship with God, and being taken deeper into the Love of God, truly taking up our cross and following Him, we will just take a look back, to recap on what we have already done

in part 1 we have looked at: listening to His still small voice of calm, hearing what Gods Word is for you, the Voice of Truth and ' you shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free '

in part 2 we looked at: Falling In Love with God, falling as much in love with God, as He has with us!

ok, we are going to continue in our journey with God, going into a deeper relationship with Him, bringing renewal, refreshing, restoration, restarting, turning to Him more and more.

Part 3 ~~ Getting out of our heads, into our hearts, laying down our fears, wiping away the tears, and looking to the heart.

right we move deeper into Love here, last week we read the scripture about love....

1Cor13...4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.8Love never fails.

we move onto 1John4...13We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. 14And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.

15If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God. 16And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.

17In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him.

18There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.19We love because he first loved us.

also...Galatians5...22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control.

1Cor6..19Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?

1Cor16...13Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.

Romans8..35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[m] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Lets read through these various scriptures a couple of times, let them speak to us

now this week, all i kept getting was quite a lot of scripture, so i have put them in some kind of order, because i believe, God wants to remind us, of various things, to ground us in our Faith, and encourage us with His Word

Ephesians2...10For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

2Cor5...17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

Phil4...13I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Phil1..4In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, 6being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Job22..21 "Submit to God and be at peace with him;

in this way prosperity will come to you.

we need to learn to submit to our Father's Love, that we let His Love work in us and through us, watering the seeds within us, the shoots of His Love

look to the fruits, the definition of Love, to soak in that each day, to have the assurance that ... we ARE a new creation, the old is gone, the new is here

we live in the resurrection, if He sets you free, you are free indeed!

perfect Love does indeed drive out fear, if He is for you, who or what can be against you?

you are justified through your faith, be bold and be strong, stand firm, remember nothing separates you from the Love of God, so dont fear turning to God in anything

Lord i pray You break any bondages or chains of fear, in any of our lives, that You draw us to let go and let You work in us, to drive out that fear, we are more than conquerers

let us move out of our heads, take the knowledge we know, and truly believe Your Word, it doesnt come and go void, and You are the same yesterday today and tomorrow, Your Word will always stand

lets let go of our fears, and wipe away our tears, and move into our hearts.....let us praise God for His unending love, His steadfastness, our Rock...

i stand in peace, awe and wonder of Jesus, vision, You brought life to me, healing of deep wounds....a new day has come, let the rain come down and wash away the tears, let it fill my soul and drown my fears, a new day has come....fear not, he has set you free, you are alive

taking my sin, my cross, my shame, rising up again to bless Your Holy name

a new day has come, today is the day that the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it, take your eyes out of the pit, and focus them on the heavens
