Drawing you into a deeper relationship with God - Part Five

Being consumed by God from the inside out!

Lord thank You for bringing us together today, as we come together to worship and praise You, with our whole being, heart mind and soul

through Your Love and Peace, guiding us with Your hand, showing us that we are caught in Your Grace, that Your Light shines out when all else fades

show us how to lose ourselves, looking to You and Your will, let us give up control and hand it over to You, consume us from the inside out, let our praise and love for You, become our embrace, let that be the cry of our hearts...in Jesus' name..Amen

as we work through the series of building on our relationship with God, and being taken deeper into the Love of God, truly taking up our cross and following Him, we will just take a look back, to recap on what we have already done

in part 1 we have looked at: listening to His still small voice of calm, hearing what Gods Word is for you, the Voice of Truth and ' you shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free '

in part 2 we looked at: Falling In Love with God, falling as much in love with God, as He has with us!

in part 3 ~~ Getting out of our heads, into our hearts, laying down our fears, wiping away the tears, and looking to the heart.

in part 4 ~~ The Breath of God, bringing us to being alive in Christ!

ok, we are going to continue in our journey with God, going into a deeper relationship with Him, bringing renewal, refreshing, restoration, restarting, turning to Him more and more.

Part 5 ~~ being consumed by God from the inside out!

ok so we have looked at how to be still and listen to His still small voice of calm, listening for direction, what Gods word is, His guidance, recognising God leading you and directing you

then going deeper falling in love with God, falling in love having a real relationship with God, taking our head knowledge, and letting go letting the Holy SPirit write that on your heart...

letting go letting God deal with our fears, bringing us peace and calmness, and how Gods breath within you bringing you healing and release, bringing life to every part of your life, mind body and soul

our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit, God abides within you, as the Spirit brings refreshment

our God is a consuming fire...

Hebrews12..28Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29for our "God is a consuming fire."

Matthew3... 11"I baptize you with[a] water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

let every breath we have give praise to the Lord, give praise, all Glory, Honour and Praise to the Father...

it isnt a matter of saying 'Come Holy Spirit, fill our hearts minds and souls...baptised with the Spirit of God, the SPirit is already within you...

the words would moreover be, Lord i hand over to You all of myself, my heart, my mind and my soul, i hand over control of my life to You, i want to let go of all that hinders my relationship with You, to be alive in You, through You with You

Your Grace is sufficient for me, i am caught in Your Grace, i need to lose myself in You, i look to You with every part of my life

with all of my being, my praise and love for You is my embrace, this is the cry of my heart, Your Spirit within me consumes me, my every being

let God lead your life, bring you from the rough to the smooth, from the darkness to light, guiding your every step, every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low

Isaiah 40..3 A voice of one calling:

"In the desert prepare

the way for the LORD [a] ;

make straight in the wilderness

a highway for our God. [b]

4 Every valley shall be raised up,

every mountain and hill made low;

the rough ground shall become level,

the rugged places a plain.

take that step of faith, put your trust in God, faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains

let God bring renewal, refreshment, restoration turning to Him more and more....let Gods Spirit within you, consume your every part, from the inside out

lets now let go and let God consume us, as we praise our Heavenly Father...
